About this product
Cheena uses only #1 premium grade wild Canadian salmon, frozen at sea to keep it fresh. Our candied smoked salmon is double smoked, then a small amount of pure Canadian maple syrup is added to each fillet just before it is sealed in a gold foil pouch and cooked. Unopened and kept in a cool place, it needs no refrigeration and keeps for 3 years. Enjoy it on its own, or add it to a salad or your favourite pasta.

Questions
When will my gift arrive?
About 4 to 7 days once we process your order. Customs queues in peak season, earthquakes or typhoons can cause delays, so order early for a date that matters.
Can I choose a delivery time?
Yes. Choose morning, 14:00 to 16:00, 16:00 to 18:00, 18:00 to 20:00 or 19:00 to 21:00 in your cart. Please keep in mind these specific delivery time slots do not apply to certain remote regions.
Does smoked salmon need to be refrigerated?
No, our smoked salmon does not have to be refrigerated if the pouch is unopened. Our special process of smoking and cooking at high temperature, called retorting, allows it to be kept without refrigeration for 3 years. However, once the pouch has been opened, the salmon must be refrigerated. This is why our smoked salmon is perfect to send to family and friends around the world.
Can I include a message?
Yes, you can write your message in your cart and we will enclose it with your gift at no charge.
Can I send stroopwafels or chocolates during the summer months?
We advise against sending stroopwafels, chocolates and candies from July 1 to September 30, when Japan's heat and humidity can affect their quality. If the sender chooses to send them during this period, the sender will be responsible for any quality issues.
What currency are prices in?
Canadian dollars. We accept orders from anywhere in the world: if you are ordering from the US, Europe, Japan or elsewhere, your card provider converts the currency at checkout.
